Keeping in Contact

At Moreton Downs State School, a number of different platforms are used to communicate with our community and for our community to communicate with us.

Facebook:  Facebook is used to celebrate, highlight events and provides an insight into our core values and vision. (please include a link to our Facebook Page)

News Flashes: Newsflashes are used to provide important information about upcoming events or urgent information to our community. These are used less frequently than other forms of communication and are emailed to parents. Please see our office staff for access to our newsflashes.

Website: Our website is designed to provide up-to-date information about our school. To celebrate what we stand for at Moreton Downs and provide information about events coming up.

Newsletters: Newsletters are emailed to our community and provide information about current events and areas of focus for our school. Please see our office staff for access to our newsletters.

Class emails: Our teachers use class emails to communicate with the parents and carers of students in their class. Please see our office ladies to gain access to these emails.

Surveys: From time to time, we use surveys to collect information from our community about various initiatives and to gain a sense of how we are travelling as a school community. Links to surveys are sent as a newsflash. We appreciate and value your input.

Complaints and Concerns:  We recognize that not everything runs smoothly all the time, and there may be genuine cause for complaint or concern that need to be addressed. Please see our Complaints and Concerns Policy document for more information on how to proceed.
